Convenient drill-downs give easy access to all the information related to the purchasing functions. The seamless flow of information from requisition to purchase order creation through to receiving and accounting mean that late deliveries due to lost information will be a thing of the past. All of a vendor's information is shown in one convenient location with an unlimited number of contacts for every vendor and space for telephone numbers, job titles, fax numbers and e-mail addresses. Each vendor may have multiple sites and each site has addresses for purchase orders, remittance and returns. Drill-downs provide a complete purchasing history for each vendor as well as a list of every item you have qualified that vendor to supply. Maintain as many qualified vendors and qualified manufacturers as you need for each purchased item. If you wish you can also store both vendor and manufacturer part numbers for every item. Items may be restricted to purchase from qualified vendors. Our complete Requisitioning module allows any user to create requisitions and route them to the proper person for approval. The approver gets messaged automatically and can approve the requisition online. This allows you to operate an on-line paperless requisitioning and purchasing systems which is quick and efficient. Management of sub-contract suppliers has historically been a difficult task but with ibusiness™ you can easily transfer parts within the system for sub-contract work and each supplier can have its own inventory location. Sub-contract purchase orders are tracked separately by the system and costs are accumulated just for the subcontract portion of the job helping to ensure proper product costing. When sub-contract parts are received back from your supplier, they are automatically relieved from the supplier's inventory location, which is quick and efficient and which also improves inventory accuracy.
