Our 'configurator' has features usually only found in applications costing many times as much. It is powerful, flexible and feature rich. Every configurable item can have as many options as you like and as many selections for each of the options. Each selection can have rules associated with it so if certain selections are incompatible with other selections those rules may be easily defined. Using iBusiness™ you can easily review whether a particular configuration has ever been built before and if it hasn't, you can specify a further review or even a first article inspection. Some operations may present many possibilities but require a discrete part number and bill of materials once an item is actually built. With ibusiness this is easy to do. Once the order has been taken, a single button click will cause iBusiness™ to review every configuration of that item and if it finds one you have the option of changing the order to reflect that existing part number. If it has never been built before then iBusiness™ will give you the option to create the bill of material and part number right there and then. Unlike most other configuration applications iBusiness™ allows options to be stocked without requiring a discrete part number. This allows you to easily handle returns and cancelled orders as well as allowing you to build popular configurations to stock and at the same time keeping your inventory and product costs accurate.
